MIXED USE
House of Fraser
Bournemouth, Dorset
House of Fraser in Bournemouth town centre opened in 1871, when Frederick Bright started selling needlework and wool in the Arcade. His business, Bright's of Bournemouth, expanded into neighbouring shops and was later bought by JJ Allen and then House of Fraser, which operated it as Dingles. The proposal seeks to change the listed building into a student housing scheme, comprising 120 studio apartments, social spaces and commercial areas.
